Locations and login for computer labs

Computer lab login

• Hold the CONTROL and ALT keys down, and press the DELETE key. This will bring up the Login window. Type in your Username and then your Password

• For security reasons, we advise that you change your password

• If you do not know your Username and Password or need support, contact the TS Service Desk

• Please have your Student ID Card with you

Coffs Harbour Campus

• General Access labs: A.G.6; A.G.7; A.G.8; A.G.10; A.1.6; A.1.10; A.1.14; A.1.24

• Library labs: E.1.8; E.1.15; E.2.1

• Service Desk - In Person Support

• Find available lab computers: PC Finder

• Specialist labs;

  • TAFE Only - A.1.12, A.1.16/13, A.1.5, A.G.5, I.G.13 & S.G.6

  • SCU Only - Uni Lounge (F.G.36) Swipe Card Only Access Monday to Friday 7:30am - 10:30pm, Saturday 9:00am - 4:30pm

• 7:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday

• 5:00pm – 11.00pm Monday to Friday via swipe card

• 8:00am – 5:00pm Saturday & Sunday via swipe card

To obtain access;

• TAFE & CHSC - Application forms are available from the Service Desk (E.G.19) / TAFE Student Central (G.LG.7)

• SCU - visit Security (A.G.4) with your student ID card

The after-hours labs are A.G.6 - A.G.8 plus E.G.19

Gold Coast Campus

• General Access labs: A3.42, A4.23, B4.24, B5.32, C4.19, C5.19

• Library labs: C1.32, C2.23, C2.27

• Service Desk - In Person Support

• Find available lab computers: PC Finder

Opening Hours

• A & B Block

  • Open 7:30am - 8:00pm

  • After-hours labs are A3.42, A4.23, B4.24, C4.19, C5.19 via swipe card (visit Security - A1.22A with your student ID card)

• C Block

  • Library: 24x7 access to Gold Coast Library

  • Other floors: Open 7:30am - 8:00pm

Lismore Campus

The Lismore campus teaching computing labs for PC users are located on Level 2 of A Block (A2.41 and A2.42).

Opening Hours

Depending on other bookings, e.g: for classes or tutorials, the computing labs are generally available for student use during the following hours.

• A2.41: 7am – 9pm

• A2.42: 24/7

• Learning Centre during Library opening hours; level 1 and level 2 (After Hours: 7am – 6pm weekdays / 10am – 6pm weekends)

• Plaza Student Common Room. 24/7

• Z Block Common Room. 24/7

If your Student Card will not allow you into the A Block lab, call Security on 02 6620 3628 or visit Security at the Gatehouse (located at the entrance of the University).
